About The Event
Saturday in Design is an annual trade event for the design community, taking place on alternative years in Sydney and Melbourne. It involves Australia's premier designer furniture, finishes, fixtures and lighting showrooms opening their doors on a Saturday to allow architects, designers, students and design-savvy members of the public to enjoy the product they specify, in a showroom environment. Saturday in Design has traditionally been an opportunity for local and international products from hundreds of reputed brands to be launched to thousands of members of the design community in one day. To enable hassle-free travel in between showroom venues around the city, a number of complimentary shuttle buses run on pre-arranged routes for the entire day. About UsIn addition to Saturday in Design, Indesign Group facilitates Brisbane Indesign, an event based on SiD, but aimed at the Queensland design community. As well as these events Indesign Group also publishes a range of world class magazines and resources for architects, designers and design hunters. These encompass publications focused on interior design and architecture, design products, news, personalities and events around the globe.
