Q. I heard there are buses to take me around to the showrooms…
A. Yes, we have arranged for complimentary buses to transport you around town. Buses will operate on different routes around the city, and also a number of express routes. While every effort is made for a bus to arrive at each location at approximately 15-minute intervals, remember delays may occur. Bus maps are contained within the handbook and will also available on this website closer to the event date in pdf form for you to download.

Q. Where do the buses start?
A. Buses start at 9am at different locations around the city on the Saturday (buses will not be operating on +Friday), and travel in designated loops throughout the whole day. The buses do not start at one particular showroom, it is a hop-on, hop-off service.

Q. Can I register my whole office as a team or do I need to register them all individually?
A. All individually. Every person wishing to attend needs to pre-register with correct details.

Q. Do I have to catch the bus or can I walk/drive?
A. You can move between showrooms at your own pace using your own transportation. The bus service is available for your convenience.

Q. Is there a party this year?
A. Yes, there is a Saturday in Design After-Party. The party is a trade event and entry is strictly by invite only. Invites will be designated by the participating showrooms.

Q. I have an invite to the Party. Will there be buses available to take me?
A. When the buses finish their scheduled showroom stops at 6pm, they will have a 15-minute break and then reload passengers with party tickets to take them to the venue.

Q. Is there a handbook this year and if so, when and where can I get one?
A. Yes, there is a Saturday in Design Handbook for 2008. The handbook will be available from all participating showrooms for pick up on the day, or will be mailed to you once you pre-register. The handbook contains all the information you will need to plan your day.

Q. If I want to bring someone who hasn’t pre-registered, will they be able to attend the event?
A. Although we encourage guests to pre-register with the opportunity to win fabulous prizes, there will be registration facilities available on the day at each participating showroom.
